ARYO  HALL 

Aryo is an Indonesian-Australian educator, performer, composer and band manager. He is an accomplished music and language teacher with years of experience sharing his passion and knowledge. He is a renowned musician and has performed on trombone, trumpet, baritone and vocals with bands such as Seduceaphones, Son Quba, Opa! Bato, Tumbao Social, Del Barrio, The Pirateska Rebellion and Mount Kujo. He has toured internationally to Serbia (2019) and Cuba (2023), as well as at festivals across Australia including the National Folk Festival (ACT), Folk Rhythm and Life, Tanglewood, White Night, Falls Festival, MOOMBA, Festival Rainbow Serpent, ZINDA, Healesville Music Festival, Castlemaine State Festival, Castlemaine Jazz Festival, Brunswick Music Festival and Eltham Jazz Festival among the highlights. 

He has completed numerous art residencies and grants across the globe including The Advancement of Culture Arts Residency (IND), The Curiosibot (ES), Punctum Inc (AUS) and Multicultural Arts Victoria (AUS). He has composed and recorded music for film, working for award winning animator and motion graphic designer Shirin Shakhesi, with works screened at Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), Melbourne International Animation Festival (MIAF) and Melbourne Women in Film Festival (MWFF). Aryo holds a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Music from Monash University and a Diploma of Traditional Music from Indonesian Arts Institute.
